D&D Encounters is a weekly drop-in Dungeons & Dragons experience. It begins with a "Celebration" event and continues with four weeks of smaller encounters with a light narrative connection, allowing players to attend on their own schedule without concern about missing previous weeks. You'll choose from a collection of pre-generated characters to play.
 
Experience Level: Beginners welcome, no experience needed but first-time players are recommended to attend our Learn-to-Play D&D events. Pre-generated character sheets will be provided. Dice & writing utensils are required. Access to the D&D Player's Handbook (2024) is highly recommended.

Requirements: Must be 18+ to play. Participation requires the following:

3. An account made ahead of time on https://myaccounts.wizards.com/ 

Registration: Entry is $5 per session. Players can pay to reserve a spot ahead of time in-store or over the phone two weeks before a scheduled session. There are only 24 spots each week. Players can show up on the evening of the event, but they are not guaranteed a spot if the list fills up before the event. 3. If you are including other people with your request, please provide their full name, email address, and if you have to be together in a group or if you can be in separate ones. Please note that this will increase your time on the waitlist.
4. DO NOT include additional information. Past experiences and resumes of previous campaigns or characters are not necessary to include.
 
Wait times can exceed six months. If requiring that another player on the waitlist is included with you, the wait time can extend much longer. Names on the waitlist are never removed before being contacted. When a potential player is contacted from the waitlist, they will be given a specific date to respond by. D&D groups are matched up at The Wizard's Chest from the waitlist. Groups consist of 5-7 players and meet every other week. Each session costs $5, of which $3 are transferred to the group's Dungeon Master as store credit. Dungeon Masters are welcome to run any type of game (one-shots, campaigns, home-brew, etc.) but are asked to use the most recent version of D&D.

The Wizard's Chest FNM draft utilizes rare redrafting. After the rounds are finished, all rares & mythics are pooled within their individual drafting pods and are then drafted to keep by all players in order of their final standing.

Join us for our Gym Leader Challenge Monthly Meetup! Take part in the GLC format and play against other opponents in this exciting new take on the Pokemon TCG.

The Gym Leader Challenge format is a new way to play Pokemon, where a deck must have the following requirements:

• Only one of each card with the same name per deck (except Basic Energy)
• No Rule Box cards or ACE SPEC cards
• Only one type (color) of Pokémon per deck
• Cards printed from Black & White–on
• No cards on the Ban List

To join the waitlist for a group, write to jacob@wizardschest.com and include:

1. Your full name.
2. If you would like to be a player and/or Dungeon Master.
3. If you are including other people with your request, please provide their full name, email address, and if you have to be together in a group or if you can be in separate ones. Please note that this will increase your time on the waitlist.
4. DO NOT include additional information. Past experiences and resumes of previous campaigns or characters are not necessary to include.
 
Wait times can exceed six months. If requiring that another player on the waitlist is included with you, the wait time can extend much longer. Names on the waitlist are never removed before being contacted. When a potential player is contacted from the waitlist, they will be given a specific date to respond by. D&D groups are matched up at The Wizard's Chest from the waitlist. Groups consist of 5-7 players and meet every other week. Each session costs $5, of which $3 are transferred to the group's Dungeon Master as store credit. Dungeon Masters are welcome to run any type of game (one-shots, campaigns, home-brew, etc.) but are asked to use the most recent version of D&D.

Experience Level: Intermediate. New players welcome, but attendees are expected to have a deck and know the basics of the game. Players and staff can teach the game: please email jacob@wizardschest.com to discuss an introduction to Lorcana!
