Ten Gift Ideas at The Wizard's Chest
When most people think about The Wizard’s
Chest, they think about costumes, magic tricks, Yu-Gi-Oh, juggling
and weird gifts. But what a lot of people don’t know is that
we have a huge array of things above and beyond what we’re
known for. Here is a small sampling of some of the great stuff we
carry that not everyone knows about.
Marshmallow
Shooter –

What’s not to love
about a gun that uses marshmallows as ammo? A completely un-regulated,
non-dangerous,
silly and fun toy that makes ballistics fun…especially when you
can eat what’s being shot at you. Blokus –

Another fine descendant of Go, Blokus is a family-oriented
game of territorial control. Each player takes control of a color
(or two colors in two player games) and tries to gain control of
as much of the board as possible, but each newly placed piece much
touch another of the same color...but only at the corners. Pieces
of different colors can touch one another without restriction,
which often leads to battles for control of each quarter of the
board. Blokus is fun for all, but those who like to think out their
moves in advance and proceed with well thought out plans tend to
do better than the more quixotic player.
Uglydolls –

are Uglydolls! They come in a variety of sizes, from 4 inches tall

Settlers of Catan –

Players are recent immigrants to the newly populated
island of Catan. Expand your colony through the building of settlements,
roads, and villages by harvesting commodities from the land around
you. Trade sheep, lumber, bricks and some grain for a settlement,
bricks and wood for a road, or try to complete other combinations
for more advanced buildings, services and specials. Trade with
other players, or at local seaports to get resources you might
lack. The first player to achieve 10 points from a combination
of roads, settlements, and special cards wins.
Chatter Stones –

2 oblong magnets, magnetic stones are 1.75" long.
Each stone is smoke gray in color, smooth and shiny. Hold them
in your hand and toss the chatter stones in the air for the coolest
sound ever. Also known as Magna Buzz, Singing Stones, Singing Magnets. 20Q Ball–

The classic game of 20 Questions has a new
look in this awesome handheld electronic version of the classic.
Think of something, anything, and the tiny digital brain inside
this ball of questions will figure it out! It’s spooky, it’s eerie,
and it’s actually pretty nifty.
Papo –

These historic figures keep going, with new
designs being added all the time, and old designs getting revamped
for a newer, more stylish look. With figures ranging from Roman
gladiators and Celtic warriors to witches, wizards and knights,
this line is always growing, and always amazing.
Antworks-
This miraculous gel, derived from a NASA Space
experiment, serves as both habitat and nutrition for your ants
- allowing you to watch in awe as they turn a brick of aqua-blue
gel into a fascinating colony of tunnels. Never before have you
been so capable of watching these awesome creatures at work. Ants
are amazing. Ants can lift up to 20x their body weight! They have
two stomachs and three eyes! They also have uncanny communication
skills and amazing abilities to work together to achieve a common
goal. |
